DAY 1 ATHENS - KYTHNOS - SYROS Kythnos can lay claim to one of the oldest known habitations in the Cyclades islands. Unspoilt island. It has more than 70 beaches, many of which are still inaccessible by road. The two charming inland villages, Chora (Kythnos town) and the lively little Dryopis, can best be visited by scooter or bike. The two main ports are Merichas and Loutra. Merichas - only minutes sailing away from the oddly shaped Sandbar Bay - is the smaller of the two. Loutra on the north-east nowadays even has a new harbour providing the best protection from the Meltemi on the island.
DAY 2 SYROS - MYKONOS Syros is the island where Greek tradition and western influence come to a harmonious marriage. Island's capital Ermoupoli has been the first important trade and industrial centre of the country in the 19th century. The great number of beautiful beaches will delight the sea and sand lovers. Mykonos' nickname is The island of the winds. Tourism is a major industry and Mykonos is well known for its vibrant nightlife.
