Aeolian Islands consist of Lipari, Salina, Stromboli, Vulcano, Panarea, Filicudi and Alicudi. Being part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the history of the Aeolian Islands dates back at least 5,000 years with evidence of prehistoric villages, ruins, excavations, pottery and tools. The origin is volcanic and the combination of the warmth of the Sicilian sun, the volcano and the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean is surprising.

VULCANO Island: swim in the hot mineral springs that flow from the seabed and take a bath in the mud. Here you can observe numerous volcanic phenomena, from clouds of smoke, steam jets (both at the mouth of the volcano and under the sea) and pools of sulphurous mud known for their therapeutic properties.
LIPARI: Besides the charm of island’s small villages, the island is rich of wonderful landscapes and wild beaches. Lipari, with its Bernabò Brea Museum and Archaeological Park, is a real gem in terms of artistic and cultural value. Don’t forget to taste Lipari’s Malvasia naturally sweet wine, produced exclusively in the Aeolian Islands. Its taste of sun-ripened sultanas is veritable poetry, to be recited every evening on the spot.

SALINA: in 2019 awarded by CNN as the most beautiful Italian Island, it is not just the beaches that attract guests throughout the year, but also a vast cultural heritage, rich history, and lush natural vistas and sights. It is the greenest of all the islands in the archipelago.
STROMBOLI: island’s volcano is active but it is not dangerous! The lucky visitors could attend the Sciara del Fuoco, the lava flow that descends into the sea. Other places to visit that we recommend are: San Vincenzo, the medieval village surrounded by very particular white houseboats; the isolated fishing village of Ginostra that clings to the rocky flank of Stromboli, accessible only through paths; and Strombolicchio, a giant boulder – obviously born from an eruption – surmounted by a large lighthouse.

PANAREA: With its rocks and islets, it forms a kind of “archipelago within an archipelago” in the stretch of sea between Lipari and Stromboli. An unspoilt paradise in the Sicilian sunlight, at sunset becoming the queen of nightlife, epicentre of Aeolian social life.
FILICUDI: turquoise coves, small fishing villages and stunning volcanic landscape. Feel the great sense of peace that this remote island provides and for anybody simply looking to get away from things it’s the ideal destination. A relaxed getaway, the typical agenda consists of swimming in the sea, enjoying watersports and sunbathing.
ALICUDI: The Island of Alicudi is the least inhabited and one of the smallest of the Aeolian Islands. It is an extinct volcano now covered in vegetation. The waters are clean and clear with plenty of fish to interest the nature-lover.
