Weekend yacht charter – Capri & Amalfi Coast
If you haven’t yet chartered a yacht around Capri and the wonderful Amalfi Coast, this is a place not to be missed! Discover this wonderful Italian island, with the blue of the sea, the green of the Mediterranean and the scent of citrus fruits that spread on the terraces creating one of the most beautiful itineraries in Italy. Our suggestion for 3 days and 2 nights:
Sorrento – Capri – Positano – Amalfi
Day 1:
Boarding is at 7:30 pm at the port of Sorrento, where you will be greeted with fresh fruit, light snacks and prosecco. You will spend the night in a safe place taking full advantage of the sound of the sea.
Day 2:
The departure is at 10:00 am from the port of Sorrento, after having breakfast on board. The first stop is Capri. Stop at the Blue Grotto, where you can enter through the characteristic small boats. You will see the most beautiful areas of the island, such as the Wonderful Grotto, the White Grotto, the Red Grotto. In addition, you will have the opportunity to admire other beautiful places, such as the wonderful Faraglioni, cliffs and rocks that are about 600 meters high and the great Natural Arch. Our crew will show you the ruins of the Villas of Tiberius, Villa Malaparte and Villa Lysis of Fersen, the Saracen Forts, and will tell you a brief history about the island and the characters that made it so popular! Then, after arriving at the private port of Capri, you will spend the night in a safe place lulled by the waves.
Day 3:
After having breakfast on board, you will leave Capri in the direction of Amalfi. First we will continue towards Punta Campanella with its Saracen tower and its lighthouse; you will have the opportunity to admire the Ieranto National Park and the bay of Nerano, one of the most enchanting places on the Amalfi coast. The navigation continues to the islands of Li Galli. In Greek mythology, mermaids represented obstacles and dangers for sailors while Li Galli was the place where boats sank due to sea currents. The name of Li Galli derives from the ancient Greek iconography of the sirens, who were represented as hybrid figures, half human and half birds. We will continue sailing in the direction of the famous Positano, one of the most beautiful places in the world, and once there you will have the opportunity to visit both the beach and the historic center with its characteristic shops. At the end of the day you will enter the port of Amalfi. Disembarkation is at about 19:00.
