Yacht charter in the Virgin Islands: BVI and USVI
British Virgin Islands and US Virgin islands: divers’ paradise
British Virgin Islands (or BVI), discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493, you can sail in an archipelago of 60 islands, only 15 of which are inhabited. Most of the BVI are of volcanic origin and each of them is the guardian of a peculiarity that distinguishes it from the others. White beaches and lush mountains in Tortola, colorful corals in Anegada Atoll , spectacular rock formations in Virgin Gorda , white beaches in Jost Van Dyke.
US Virgin islands consist of the main islands of Saint Croix, Saint John, and Saint Thomas and 50 other surrounding minor islands and cays. St. Thomas is known for luxury – from the megayachts moored in the harbor to the high-end storefronts along Main Street. Located a short ferry ride east, St. John appeals to honeymooners and nature lovers, with pristine beaches. Way down south in the Caribbean Sea, St. Croix allows visitors to explore the islands’ colonial heritage and the history of slavery at several different forts and plantations.
